Guidelines for awarding a prize: AKIO follows the following guidelines to evaluate winners. The prizes will be awarded based on Standard to meet:
Any participant must get at least 50% or more marks to be considered for awarding a prize. If participants are below 50% marks no one is awarded with1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, in fact we choose TWO participants who are closure to the bench mark (40-50 %) and award an APPRECIATION prize and rest wont get anything. Scenario 1: When there is only 1 participant, An appreciation prize will be awarded if the participant meets the standard. If not, then just participation certificate will be given. Scenario 2: When there are TWO participants One gets the Best of Two prize if standard is met, the other gets an appreciation prize if standard is met. Otherwise both will be given appreciation prize if they are very close (40-50 %) to the standard. Otherwise no prize will be given. Scenario 3: When there are THREE participants If three participants meet the standard, then 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded. If only one participant met the standard, then Best of 3 prize will be given, if other two are not met then they would not get anything, but if they are very close to the standard (40-50 %) then they will be given appreciation prize. If only two participants met standard then 1st and 2nd prizes will be given. Scenario 4: When there are FOUR or more. Same rules apply as above, if top 3 participants meet the standard then 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be given. Scenario 5: If there are more than 10 participants then Same rules apply as above, top 3 participants get 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize and 1 consolation will be given if standard is met.
